Two meditations and two realities.

# Quatation 2 ; transformation between Dream & Reality

Let's make a point.
'In old days the matter was reality vs biological dream. but now it's digital dream(virtuality)'
This split of reality matters so much ?
Think of the cybersex ; having sex with what? with sheer image? digital image generated by machine ? Whatever it be, this image or virtuality stimulate the neurons and render the biological, emotional and moreover physical proess.
Unlike the night-dream, this digital reality fulfill our 'day-dream';desire. Here the reality and virtuality compensate each other and constitute a whole one, REALITY.
It's getting useless to compete with monolithic reality. Sticking to the originals, the pure identity. Do you claim for the 'pure' reality ? Such kinds of notion that Reality vs. virtual, Original vs. duplicate,..
But this frantic pursuit of purism, extremity of this purism will eventually result in blood and death. As we can see this Nazism & Fascism in political expression and Narcissism in literatural and cultural expression.
As there is no need anymore to defend the (theory of) camera from it's opponents who believed that to take a picture will take the soul from the subject, we don't have to defend the 'reality' from pseudo-realities or to defend the theory of virtual(or hyper-) reality from it's cons or vice versa. Becuase it's been already(or is being) realised.
Never mind it being a dream of Chuang Chou to become a butterfly or being a dream of butterfly to become Chuang Chou. It's the way of transformation of things. So called the digitally mirrored image of being is a extension of being. extending and transforming. Extension cannot be beaten up. beating up one's extension is like to kill oneself. To kill oneself in the front of mirrored image.
