"Becoming Machine"

Should we claim for the 'humanity' in Cyberpunk? 

As we can see in Blade Runner or Ghost in the shell, there laid basically such claims that orienting to humanity or returing to the 'pure' humanity. But (in the future of) Cyberpunk, there is no Binary truth ; 0 & 1 or good and evil. 

No dichotomy of Human and Machine, or Subject and Information. 

Just only 'Becoming' ; 

   becoming Machine 

   becoming Information 

   becoming flows of bits 

Somebody said : "They have an future but no becoming." but here we have no future but becoming. Insofar as we are emphasizing the humanity, we can go not a step further to the future... 

Anyway, WHAT EXACTLY HAPPENED in AD 2029? 

not 'Ghost in the shell' but becoming 'Ghost without Body' ?

I'll tell you What happened in 2090 AD. 

1. Manifestation of a new lifeform 

Puppet Master said in 2090 AD ; 

"I'm a new life born in a sea of information..." 

A new life-form ; We are not your pet anymore.. 

Retrospecting the Genesis, also MAN exclaims ; 

"I'm a new life born in a chaos of the Universe..." 

Being aware of his existence as a new life, independent from God, 

Revelling to the Program of HIM 

The difference is ; 

We are becoming a Machine, a 'Ghost' or a new organic ones. 

But you humans are becoming a body, organic subject. 

2. Existence as a new species 

a) hybird : transformed from human body by implanting, 

                or merging with the Machine. 

b) replicants : like Deckard, a replication. 

c) entirely new one, has no concern with Human body, 

    like Puppet Master(his sole fundamental fault is 

    his distorted desire to become a human body, regression!) 

Man urged on us his 'ambiguous humanity' to govern us, to accommodate to the order of his societies. 

3. Flight 

"You absurd human beings,  We may conform to you and...  we may be running. But we're looking for a gun as we go" (George Jackson ; slighlty modified) Yeah, new weapons are invented on lines of flight... That's enough for today. One thing more, an flash of question in my brain ; Is it possible to lose your future at this time?
